Communicative exchange using eye-gaze can assume a variety of formats that can be tailored to address individual needs. Formats discussed in this article are the eye-gaze vest, the laptray, the transparent display, and the mirror/prism communicator. Information regarding the types of message displays used to depict encoded material is also presented. The article concludes with a discussion of the advantages of implementing nonelectronic eye-gaze communication techniques.
