X Abstract

An automatic procedure to post-process the 1H magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) signal is presented. The procedure, after the removal of the residual water signal, separates the metabolic peaks of MRS spectrum from the background noise and decomposes the spectrum in a sum of Lorentzian functions and Gaussian noise. As a result relevant metabolic information such as the relative concentrations of metabolites are automatically computed. The proposed procedure has been tested versus the manual analysis of four independent operators in order to verify the reliability of the extracted parameters

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
