X Abstract

Using an auditory memory search task and 8 vowels as stimuli, latencies and accuracy (number correct) for 6 subjects were measured. Accuracy during the first session was above chance but evidence of automatic processing was tenuous and was not achieved for RT. Auditory search seems more difficult than visual search.
