Abstract

The DNA backbone geometry was analyzed for 96 crystal structures of oligodeoxynucleotides. The ranges and mean values of the torsion angles for the observed subclasses of the A-, B-, and Z-DNA conformational types were determined by analyzing distributions of the torsion angles and scattergrams relating pairs of angles. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
