X Abstract

This guidebook is designed to assist local governments who are considering taking advantage of 1998 amendments to the Municipal Act that expand opportunities for public private partnerships for the delivery of public facilities and services. Public private partnership is an alternative model of service delivery that is becoming more common, both in BC and across Canada. It can, however, be complex for local elected officials and staff to negotiate and administer.
