Abstract

In this paper the business model transformation of a typical large incumbent telecommunications service provider (TSP) has been analysed with the intent of understanding the business model interrelationship with the change in business process architecture. A fictitious large incumbent TSP organisation, ‘Telco Ltd’, is visualised here for the purpose of concept elaboration. Typical TSP business models have been represented using the Osterwalder methodology of mapping business models. The business model and business process transformation interrelationship has been elaborated using the example TSP pre- and post-transformation.
