X Abstract

doi: 10.1021/nl802724f A monolayer of ultrathin sheets of highly hydrophobic graphene nanosheets was prepared on a large area substrate via self-assembly at the liquid−liquid interface. Driven by the minimization of interfacial energy these planar shaped graphene nanosheets produce a close packed monolayer structure at the liquid−liquid interface. This monolayer film shows high electrical conductivity of more than 1000 S/cm and an optical transmission of more than 70% at a wavelength of 550 nm. Interfacial self-assembly of these nanosheets demonstrates a promising route for the application of this novel material in optoelectronics applications.

CiteULike organises scholarly (or academic) papers or literature and provides bibliographic (which means it makes bibliographies) for universities and higher education establishments. It helps undergraduates and postgraduates. People studying for PhDs or in postdoctoral (postdoc) positions. The service is similar in scope to EndNote or RefWorks or any other reference manager like BibTeX, but it is a social bookmarking service for scientists and humanities researchers.
