X Abstract

The author of this study attempts to develop an operationally feasible insider trading scanning approach in which listed over-the-counter (OTC) securities experiencing sufficient insider trading activity are further analyzed using key financial ratios: "Following a review of my previous research in OTC insider trading, I develop the insider scanning approach. I set forth the model and then test it by means of multiple discriminant analysis. This paper's basic proposition is that improvement in the predictive capability of the expected performance of securities in which there is a consensus of insider trading is possible if one subjects the relevant securities to financial ratio analysis.
