AbstractThis paper proposed and validates a new framework for the evaluation and comparison of enterprise models. After a broad literature survey, a large number of evaluation criteria were established and consolidated into a comprehensive framework. The main structuring principle of the framework is the dimension distinguishing syntactic, semantic and pragmatic criteria. The resulting framework is validated against some conceptual principles.
